The Green Door is a 1947 post-war duplex that we have totally renovated to reflect the vintage charm of the era.  Reading through history, the décor of this era red, yellow, aqua greens paired with much white was the choice for many Americans seeking joy after the dreariness of WWII and the end of the polio epidemic.  People were looking for clean, bright and happy.  We took this concept and combined it with modern luxuries to make The Green Door what I like to call “Vintage Modern”.

Main Floor Unit boasts a new traditional solid oak floor in the living room and hallway.

The kitchen has a bright white tile floor that extends into the new dining room revised from half an old addition and painted tongue and groove.  The DR has a nice size coat closet and glass patio doors leading to your personal patio space in the shared back yard. The cupboards have been refinished in a true slate gray and this rooms has many of them including a corner pantry.  The backsplash is retro-subway tile in white with glass tile striping and the walls are finished in a charming yellow.  Best of all it has a dishwasher that was added to the already provided stove, fridge and microwave.

The bathroom is also done in white tile, with matching custom shower tile and the small hex tile often seen in vintage buildings.  Walls and fixtures were all torn out and replaced as well as pipes and plumbing.

The plush carpeted master bedroom was revised from half an old addition with painted tongue and groove walls and vaulted ceiling with ceiling fan.  It has a smaller closet and a full walk in closet plus a FIREPLACE and views into the backyard.

Bedroom 2 also has plush carpet, an extended closet ceiling fan and soothes in a sage green.

With this level you will have a back entrance and the full basement for storage and full laundry area with washer/dryer included.  It also has a utility bathroom.

Quirky and charming feel of yesteryear with the convenience of today.  Be the first resident in our first acquisition!  $875.00 month plus utilities includes garage
